Valkyrie Elysium is the latest installment in Square Enix’s Valkyrie Profile action RPG franchise. You take on the role of a Valkyrie named Maria, whose mission is to bring salvation to a world plagued by Ragnarok. As a Valkyrie, you encounter powerful monsters as you traverse the realms searching for lost souls.

Unlike most RPGs, Valkyrie Elysium does not have a skill point system. Instead, you need to spend materials to unlock various skills in your skill trees. During your journey, you’ll come across gems of various colors that can be used to unlock skills and abilities.
These gems are Magic Gems, Emerald Gems, and Violet Gems. You can acquire these gems by defeating enemies and looting crates. In addition to the gems, some skills also require Yellow Souls and Flame Gems to unlock.
