Ryan Gracia recently announced that he will not be facing the new WBC super lightweight champion, Devin Haney, in his next fight. As such, this has led to the two well-known boxers engaging in a war of words. Haney responded to Garcia’s announcement by taking a shot at him online with a sarcastic comment. More recently, however, another episode of their online beef occurred after a video showed Garcia taking shots at Haney for having low PPV numbers.
After Garcia announced his intent not to fight Haney, he had an interview earlier with Inside Fighting (INF). Subsequently, in the interview, Ryan Garcia stated that Haney has now lost his chance. Furthermore, Garcia asserted that he is the bigger star compared to the WBC Super Lightweight Champion.
Garcia had previously mentioned that fighting Rolando Romero would be more lucrative. Hence, Garcia touched upon this topic in the interview by stating:

Garcia stated that Haney has a lot of opportunities for now and was wrong to assume that he wasn’t the big star. In addition, Garcia brought up how Haney last fought against Regis Prograis, who just did 35k PPVs. Subsequently, Garcia’s fight against Gervonta Davis was a huge PPV success, so Garcia’s presumptions are slightly true.
However, Haney is not happy at all and fired back at Garcia on social media by hurling insults at him. Furthermore, Haney even brought up how Garcia has only had one PPV fight and never did a PPV event after that.
Garcia feels that fighting Romero would be more lucrative and wants to fight Haney later. Garcia also brought up how Haney achieved a very low number of PPVS in his last fight against Prograis. Furthermore, fans reacted to Garcia’s claims by stating, “Ridiculous! Such a f**king diva attitude.”
