Marta Krupa is getting her sweat on – in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the model sister of Joanna Krupa shows off her amazing body in a skintight workout ensemble while working out at home. "Thanks to @benchk_sports_furniture I have my own home gym!" she captioned the post. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
When asked by Naluda "What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?" Marta revealed that the "worst thing" is having to diet. "I loveeeeee FOOD!!! I fluctuate a lot and its hard for me to diet. When I do I am miserable, but at the end of the day the best thing is to look back at these photos and just say WOW I look good. All that dieting and working out was worth it," she said. Her favorite food? Tacos. She also loves sushi.
Marta exercises for the mental and physical health benefits. "Fitness helps me think better, feel better, and move better. Make yourself a priority. It's not selfish. It's necessary :)" she captioned a post.
One of Marta's favorite workouts is hot yoga. According to the American Osteopathic Association, there are more than 100 different types, or schools, of yoga. Most practices include breathing exercises, meditation, and assuming postures (sometimes called asana or poses) that stretch and flex various muscle groups."The relaxation techniques incorporated in yoga can lessen chronic pain, such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome," Natalie Nevins, DO, a board-certified osteopathic family physician and certified Kundalini Yoga instructor in Hollywood, California, explained to them. "Yoga can also lower blood pressure and reduce insomnia."
Other physical benefits of yoga include:
- increased flexibility
- increased muscle strength and tone
- improved respiration, energy and vitality
- maintaining a balanced metabolism
- weight reduction
- cardio and circulatory health
- improved athletic performance
- protection from injury
Marta does a lot of strength training workouts. In one video she demonstrates a variety of exercises, including lunges, squats, leg presses, pull downs, and hip abductors. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:
- Develop strong bones
- Manage your weight
- Enhance your quality of life
- Manage chronic conditions
- Sharpen your thinking skills
Marta also walks her dogs. Here she is taking them on a stroll. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.
