Kevin Durant found himself at the center of something of a messy situation this week when he got called out by sometimes-actor Michael Rapaport.
Essentially, Rapaport took issue with a barrage of threats and insults Durant seemingly made via DMs.
The origin of Durant’s beef seemed to be Rapaport bad-mouthing him over an interview.
As a result, Durant went off.
Rapaport subsequently published their exchange.
After the situation went viral, Durant took to Twitter to offer his two cents on what transpired.
Me and mike talk CRAZIER than this on the regular and today he’s pissed….My bad mike, damn!!

Obviously this isn’t the first time in recent weeks Durant has found himself in a sticky situation. A little while back, Wiz Khalifa exposed him for being a terrible friend. Then he got busted creeping on Oklahoma track star Brooke Thomas’ page. Not great looks, all things considered.
It’ll also be interesting to see how the NBA reacts to all this drama. The league has previously fined and/or suspended players like Kobe Bryant and Rajon Rondo for using anti-gay slurs on the court. Whether Durant will ultimately face any sort of punishment remains to be seen.
