Eric Kripke is an American television writer, director, and producer. He created the shows Supernatural and Revolution, co-created the show Timeless, and developed the show The Boys, and was a writer for them all. He also co-wrote the film Boogeyman (2005) and wrote the film adaptation The House with a Clock in Its Walls.

Eric is the son of Joan and Larry Kripke. He was raised in Sylvana Township, a Toledo suburb.

Eric’s paternal grandfather was Sherwin Kripke (the son of Maurice Kripke and Celia Vine). Sherwin was born in Michigan, to a father from Poland and a mother from Michigan, whose own parents were from Poland.

Eric’s paternal grandmother was Naomi Cousin (the daughter of Isadore Cousin and Lillian/Lilly Greenspoon). Naomi was born in Ohio, to parents from Russia.

Eric’s maternal grandfather was named Ben Levy.
