MANSFIELD, OH (CelebrityAccess) — The fourth annual Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival has wrapped after a sell-out crowd of more than 75,000 fans enjoyed three days of music, tattoos, and haunted attractions.
The event, which took place at the historic Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio from July 19-21, featured a rock heavy lineup that included headliners Shinedown, Godsmack and Breaking Benjamin.
Produced by independent promoter Danny Wimmer Presents and Reinkcarceration LLC, the fest included exclusive performances from Halestorm and I Prevail Lzzy Hale and Eric Vanlerberghe guesting in each other’s sets for their collaboration, “Can U See Me In The Dark?”
Additionally, the Cleveland-based metal band Chimaira made their first appearance at a U.S. festival in more than a decade when they took the stage at Inkcarceration on Friday night.
The Offspring, Bad Omens, Parkway Drive, Chevelle, Dropkick Murphys, Sleeping With Sirens, Killswitch Engage, Hollywood Undead, Machine Head, Sevendust and Of Mice & Men were on hand as well to perform throughout the weekend.
Activations at the 2024 edition of Inkcarceration included The Whiskey Bar presented by BLACKENED, Bud Light Seltzer, Middle West Spirits, and Take Me Home, plus programming for the festival campgrounds including Rock Capitol Live Band Karaoke, a special screening of I Stand Alone: The Sully Erna Story Documentary and performances from Southbond Beretta, Hannan, Influence, Heathensun, The Convalescence, Fight from Within, The Behest of Serpents, Lydia Can’t Breathe, Zakk Cash and Titans in Time.
According to Danny Wimmer Presents, the fest will return in 2025, though dates for the event have yet to be announced.
