Swordmasters Arena Tips
Use dual blades, not the longsword, you will be surprised how much faster you get and how consistent your damage will get.
The only downside is not being able to block fighter’s spin, for which you have to either position yourself well or use sword and shield as your secondary.
- When not facing 2+ fighters, use crossbow as your secondary, hit cleric/pyro/cryo twice, then hit them with q for an almost guaranteed kill, be aware of positioning and ice block tho. When facing 2+ fighters or one fighter that is focusing you, use sword and shield instead of a crossbow.
- Go for str and will first, first massively boosts your damage output, second buffs your q and gives you a lot of sustain as you can fully heal from your q, leaving shrines to your teammates. After that I would go for stamina, then dex.
- Play off your q, try to never fight without it as it gives you a massive advantage in fights, try to focus one squishy target first then go in with your e to fight the rest, spam crossbow shots or restock blades in your q’s downtime.
- Look for +damage/+skill damage on items if you already got str and will perks.
- Learn to loot very fast so you leave your base right when countdown ends, you will often get a chance to get free kills on enemies that are still looting.
- Using your e while already getting engaged on isn’t a good idea as you will take too much damage in the animation, either use it before the engage or fight without it.
- Don’t forget to charge your attacks when enemies are blocking. For the longsword block, charge attack their legs.
That’s all! I really appreciate it if you’ve made it this far. See you in the game!
