Devin Booker is a 25-year-old American basketball player who plays for the Phoenix Suns in the NBA. Booker was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 30th, 1996 to Melvin Booker and Veronica Gutierrez.
Booker’s father, Melvin was a professional basketball player himself. The 25-year-old often attended his father’s basketball games and seemingly fell in love with the sport at a young age. Booker started his high school basketball career at Grandville High School in Michigan but moved to Moss Point High School in Mississippi.
Devin Booker then went on to join the University of Kentucky in 2014. After playing only on year of college basketball the Phoenix Suns player went on to declare himself for the NBA drafts in 2015. Booker was selected by Phoenix Suns as their 13th pick in the 2015 NBA drafts.
Devin Booker has been with the Phoenix Suns ever since and has gone on to become one of the biggest names in the sport thanks to his incredible performances during the 2021 NBA Finals. He led his team to the NBA Finals in 2021 against the Milwaukee Bucks. However, his efforts fell short as the Phoenix Suns ended up losing the series to the Bucks.
Devin Booker went on to represent the United States national team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and won the gold medal as well.
