It’s time to wave goodbye to Carole Radziwill as she leaves The Real Housewives of New York City after five drama-filled seasons.
And while she may be walking away that doesn’t mean she is completely blocking out that chapter of her life.
Just simply no longer promoting or associating herself with the beloved show.
It all began when the RHONY star shared a photo to Instagram at the Rockhouse Hotel and Spa in Jamaica, with on again/off again boyfriend, Adam Kenworthy.
Comments from the fans swept in with questions about the Bravo franchise, to which Carole openly shared her thoughts.
And she held absolutely nothing back about the upcoming season.
One follower asked, "how can I watch RHONY next season without you," to which she replied back, "with the sound off," adding a winking emoji.
Which is hilariously brutal.
But honestly, after six seasons of petty rich people drama, I’m not surprised the 55-year-old made the decision to remove herself from all of that negative energy.
"I have decided to return to what I do best – journalism and producing," Carole said in a statement to US Weekly.
"I am sure this does not come as a surprise to any of the viewers, all of whom have been supportive, encouraging, and kind. My curiosity about reality television has waned over the years and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament…
"I have worked with amazing producers, made great friends, and I’m thrilled to leave frenemies behind. I will remember this entire experience with delight, humor, and a veracious accuracy."
And while the new career move is a totally valid excuse for her departure, it’s also fair to wonder if the documented fall out between her and one-time bestie, Bethenny Frankel had anything to do with it? Probably just a tad.
US Weekly shares that the only costar she still communicates with is Ramona Singer.
Complimenting her character by saying "Ramona keeps in touch. Ramona, I’ll be honest, she’s a very good girlfriend. There’s a reason why she has 25 really close girlfriends that she’s accumulated."
"She knows how to create and maintain friendships. So that’s a friendship I’m sure I will see outside the show. That’s about it… I’m not close to any of the other girls," Carole shares.
The rest of the season 10 cast – Ramona Singer, Bethenny Frankel, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps, and Tinsley Mortimer will all return to the Bravo Housewive’s screen.
